This DW 3x14" Pi Carbon piccolo snare drum is in brand new, untouched condition, it's perfect. DW designed these using a thin-shell "Pi" concept intended to maximize sensitivity and response. The carbon fiber shell provides structural strength in a very thin shell, contributing to a quick, articulate sound. These drums were part of DW’s experimental Pi series, representing a departure from traditional shell construction approaches.
