Made in the 80s in Japan, this Fender Telecaster Thinline is a rare mahogany-body reissue of the classic 70s semi-hollow design, known for its warm, resonant tone and lightweight body. The one-piece maple, slim neck profile neck feels comfortable in hand, it's not too chunky or too thin, making moving up and down the fretboard feel effortless. This Thinline has been upgraded with a 6-saddle bridge, EMG pickups and Gotch sealed tuners, transforming it into a high-performance machine with modern tuning stability. Unlike the tradition "snap" of ash or alder, the mahogany body provides a much warmer, deeper midrange and a smoother high-end roll-off. Visually, this guitar is in excellent condition, with the only notable cosmetic flaw being a small chip in the finish of one of the control knobs. All of the electronics are in working order and the neck on this guitar is straight. The intonation is spot on, the action is excellent and there is no fret wear apparent from previous use. This guitar has been professionally set up weighing in at 6 pounds, 15 ounces. This guitar comes with a hard shell case and is ready to be enjoyed by its next owner for years to come.
