1967 Gibson SG Special in original Cherry finish. Excellent condition and completely original throughout. This is one of the best playing and sounding SG Specials I’ve ever handled from this era. Lightweight, late 50s neck profile, perfect P90s, super resonant, no breaks or repairs. Just a total specimen of an SG. Very clean with light lacquer checking, unfaded color, and some light contact wear on the lower bout/rim of the guitar. One notable chip (pictured).
Before anyone asks- yes, the tuners are original to the guitar. Gibson used these strip tuners throughout 1967-1968 on SG Specials and Juniors as well as Melody Makers.
Comes in a nice aftermarket Gator hardshell SG case. Ready to play.
