Steve’s notes: This is a fantastic Slingerland Super Sound King snare drum. Late 60s era with chrome over brass shell. This drum has extended snare wires for extra sensitivity. These are wonderful drums and I actually prefer these to the Ludwig Super Sensitive from this era. The snare strainer mechanism on the Slingerland is, in my view, my better.
