I know very little about this guitar. Late '50s, early '60s? Made in Germany. Can be used as-is (see video) but could definitely be improved by someone with a practiced hand. The neck is straight. Action creeps up a bit toward the 12th fret. There's a little room left to lower the bridge with the thumbwheels. The frets need attention. They're poking out on both the treble and bass sides, and they feel rough and pitted. Electronics work fine, but the pots are sticky. There's black paint on the fretboard side of the nut. Makes me wonder if the fretboard or possibly the whole neck was painted. Tuners are reverse. There's a good sized ding on the back near the strap button. There's crazing in the finish, patina on metal surfaces, dings, scuffs, and everything else you expect to see on a vintage instrument. New DR 10s. Ships in a basic used gig bag. Ships to lower 48. No international. No P.O. boxes. No trades.
Return policy: happy to take a return if the item doesn't match the description&photos. If there's shipping damage we'll get it sorted quickly. But I can't take any more "bought this by mistake" returns. One-man operation here. The last straw was a guy who complained an item was "in too good condition". Anyway, please triple check your order before purchasing. Thanks for understanding.
