How's it going! You're looking at a Vintage 1979 Guild F-40 Blonde Small Jumbo Acoustic Guitar With Hard Shell Case!!

Made in Westerly, Rhode Island in 1979, this Guild F-40 features a spruce top with maple back and sides that provide for a crisp, tight and edgy tone that will cut through a mix. This guitar is known for its powerful projection thanks to its small jumbo body paired with its arched maple back which really enhances the volume and resonance. The medium sized "C" profile neck feels thicker in hand by modern standards but offers a comfortable, familiar feel almost like 70s electric guitar neck. The guitar has a fast, percussive response that's perfect for heavy strumming or flatpicking. If you need a guitar that can be heard over a banjo or a loud mix, this is the one. Beyond wear and tear consistent with age, this guitar is in great used condition but does show some minor scratches and dents which have been photo'd above. There is some minor binding checking on the edges of the guitar and the interior label is missing but these defects are entirely cosmetic and will not affect the guitars play ability. The neck on this guitar is straight, the intonation is spot on and the action is excellent. There is minimal fret wear apparent from previous use and this guitar has been professionally set up, weighing in at 5 pounds, 9 ounces. This guitar comes with a hard shell case and is ready for it's next owner to enjoy for years to come!!!
