Custom spec’d by Italian shred maestro Luca Mantovanelli, the Ibanez LM1 is built from the ground up for ultra-high-performance and genre-defying tone. This guitar’s lightweight alder body features custom contours and a deep waist to naturally conform to your body, while the Super All Access neck joint offers unfettered access to even the highest frets. Next, the LM1’s exceptionally stable roasted maple neck is carved into a AZ Oval “C” shape, topped with an elegant slab of rosewood, then finished off with 22 highly durable stainless-steel frets in a versatile 9-12-inch radius — it’s certainly a shred-ready design, but Sweetwater guitarists of all styles found the LM1’s high-tech neck a joy to play. Finally, a trio of Seymour Duncan Fortuna single-coil pickups perfectly complement Luca’s diverse sonic stylings with a medium output design that’s equally fit for smooth, laid-back jazzy tones as it is for roaring shred solos.
