1981 Gibson Victory Standard with the original hardshell case and warranty card. This bass was just completely disassembled, cleaned and repaired. All the different parts have been polished, the old switch was replaced with a new quality switch, the bridge ground was replaced and reseated under the bridge. The old tone capacitor was swapped for a new Russian paper-in-oil cap with the same value as the old 60s-70s Gibson basses. The original humbucker pickup had a weak coil and was replaced with a NOS original Gibson Victory Bass pickup. This is a heavy bass, around 11 lbs. 3-piece maple neck, solid maple body, brass nut, and this particular first year (‘81) model has the very rare full sized Gibson stamped open gear tuners. Between the maple on maple, and the brass nut, this thing has unrivaled attack and sustain.
