OG late 70s Black Beauty 5x14 snare dum. This is the real deal. Original except for heads and wires. Oxidation evident as is common with this age and production set. These were made in the Chicago factory. The holy grail of snares. The 5x14 will do everything. Everything that the 6.5 will do, but the 6.5 can’t do everything that the 5 can do. I have owned 8 of these vintage babies, brass and bronze, and I have come to know a lot about them. This one is 1.2mm thick and has the old skool edges and beds. Heavier than the modern models. It tunes up like a dream. This is The Snare: you can buy this one and sell all the rest.
