This double top guitar consists of a spruce top with Nomex and cedar underneath. As is typical of DT guitars it features a big bass sound with good resonance, and also typically less sustain in the trebles than a traditional build. I experimented with many string types and tensions and found the medium flourocarbon D'Addario EJ45FF to restore treble sustain close to traditional classical guitar sound. Though labelled Normal, at 94.55lb., this is fairly high by comparison with most brands. I was particularly impressed with the fretboard work, with frets well polished and smooth on the edges, and even a scalloped treatment on the board edge between frets to facilitate Barre. The fretboard is slightly elevated. Condition is mint, with only a hardly visible scratch or two on sides, not even photographable. Fiberglass case included.
