The Mia Wallace Variobump is based on the 3-knob version of the Catalinbread VarioBoost.
This pedal offers a 12db boost OR cut at any frequency from 70Hz to 1.4kHz which is an extremely useful tool to help you cut through a mix or cut out unwanted frequencies to let something else shine. You can also add some nice saturated overdrive if you want to push your amp a little further.
- Vincent = down
- Mia = up
Then you can keep your boost clean, or add some nice saturated dirt to it.
