Vintage 1990's Audio-Technica Pro 4L dynamic cardioid microphone Low Z w mic clip

  You are looking at a excellent sounding 1980's or 90's era Audio Technica Pro 4L model dynamic cardioid microphone that has very strong output and set at Low Z making this a good choice for singing and broadcasting purposes. It comes with the mic clip shown and takes a standard XLR cable to operate.

 Pic # 2 shows the specs on the Pro 4L model mic. It's set at 250 OHMS with a smooth warm tone that will surely please for singing or broadcasting purposes. A very high quality mic and you'll get a great bang for the buck. 

 The Pro Series were very rugged in it's construction being an all metal design with an ominous flat black finish that were great for situations where light glare can be a problem. I would compare these to the American made Shure SM-58 except that the SM-58 had just a bit more bass being set at 600 OHMS.

 The Pro series is a bit more obscure today as they haven't been sold in many years but there certainly underrated today and not appreciated as they should be.

 This Pro 4L would make a great karaoke mic due to it's sound, lower cost and ability to take punishment.

 The frequency response is 16 - 14,000HZ and is appx 6 1/2 inches tall X 2 inches wide at the globe and very fairly lite weight. 

 This mic comes with a black plastic mic clip fits the mic very well and shows very little wear.   Gives a good degree of tilt and will screw onto any desk or floor stand you have.

 This Pro 4L itself has typical lite wear on the original ebony finish of the mic but it's free of any dents or fractures. Please let the detailed pics be your guide. The Pro 4L has the on / off switch that works perfectly. The front screen is metal and free of any dents, odors or tarnish but there is some wear on the black paint. Original inner pop filter was replaced with a new pop filter and is in excellent shape and will last for decades. The Audio Technica label shows very lite wear and completely legible. 

 The XLR pins were cleaned to ensure a perfect signal once an XLR cable is attached.

 Overall I would rate this mic a cosmetic 7 on a scale of 1 - 10.
