Color/Finish: Ebony
Fretboard: Rosewood
Reissued in '89/90 as the V '67. Loaded with a pair of dynamic sounding humbuckers that deliver rich, robust tones. This Gibson Flying V '67 Reissue features high-output ceramic humbuckers—specifically a 496R in the neck and a 500T in the bridge. These pickups are known for their hot output, aggressive tone suitable for rock and metal.
Characterized by a mahogany body, mahogany neck, and the large '67-style pickguard.
Cosmetic Condition: Only light play wear for its age - various tiny nicks, chips, dents & dings; surface scratches & some variegation in the finish. Overall the guitar looks great & has an ultra cool signature from Michael Schenker, guitarist of UFO, Michael Schenker Project, etc.
Neck: Wide, flat profile mahogany neck with side-dots. Rosewood fingerboard with mother of pearl dot inlays. Frets show only a tiny bit of wear & have tons of life in them. Gibson Deluxe tuners with Keystone buttons. 1 11/16" nut width; 24 3/4" scale length. Neck is straight & truss rod works fine.
Body: V-shaped solid mahogany body with 4-ply large white pickguard. Stopbar tailpiece & Tune-O-Matic bridge. Guitar weighs 7 lbs 11 oz.
Electronics: Dual volume & master tone controls with black "top hat" knobs; 3-way toggle switch. All electronics are in good working condition with one minor exception: cord input jack makes noise and needs to be repaired/replaced.
Case: Original Gibson USA hardshell case included. Combination locks built into case.
