This is a Made in Korea from 1992, 650 mm scale . This guitar has not been played much, and is an excellent example of the legit craftsmanship and quality that came out of Korea in the early 1990s. I believe they stopped making this configuration in 1994. It has herringbone rosette and binding and the cool Washburn "W" on the heel. Back and sides are Ovangkol, and it has a Spruce top and Mahogany neck. Fingerboard and bridge are Rosewood with pearl dot inlays. Nut is 1 3/4" and it has Washburn branded closed tuners. I believe the Washburn tuners from this era are white label Grovers (some Washburns came from the factory with Grovers as well, but these are "Washburn" branded). It has a high gloss finish that is in very nice condition. It projects very well across the range. Most people who know about these 90's MIK Washburns will agree that they are "sleeper" guitars due to build quality of the time. It is a heavy guitar. The D13N is all tone wood vs the D10S of the time, which were lower grade laminate guitars. Sound is very "open" because it's 32 years old. The top has no bellying, and the bridge is secure. It is maybe for a blue grass player since the nut is a little wider but the string spacing could be more i.e. there's room to cut a new nut if you want wider finger picking on the fretboard. Overall this is a very solid and respectable acoustic dreadnought. Action is great. Like many people on Reverb, I have too many gits and need to thin the herd.
