PRS Silver Sky electric guitar in Midnight Rose with an alder body, bolt on maple neck, rosewood fretboard, 635JM single coil pickups, and PRS steel tremolo. Includes PRS gig bag.
Weighs: 7 lbs, 6 oz
The PRS Silver Sky is a USA made Core model developed in collaboration with John Mayer, combining vintage inspired single coil tone with modern PRS craftsmanship, precision, and reliability.
Built with an alder body and bolt on maple neck, the Silver Sky delivers a balanced tonal response with warmth, clarity, and dynamic feel. The 25.5 inch scale length, 635JM-R neck carve, and 7.25 inch radius rosewood fretboard create a comfortable, traditional playing experience that feels familiar while maintaining the consistency and attention to detail expected from a PRS Core instrument.
Three 635JM single coil pickups provide clear note separation, dynamic response, and balanced tones across all five pickup positions. From glassy cleans to edge-of-breakup textures and driven sounds, the pickup set maintains articulation while capturing the expressive character that helped define the Silver Sky platform.
A 5 way blade switch keeps the control layout intuitive and versatile, while the PRS steel tremolo provides smooth, stable vibrato performance. Vintage style locking tuners and a bone nut further enhance tuning stability and reliability.
Finished in Midnight Rose, this model offers a unique and understated appearance that shifts subtly depending on lighting. Additional design elements include the signature Silver Sky inverted headstock and PRS bird inlays.
