Update: I received question regarding the appearance and I'd like to address it. I like to keep it as it, with 'battle scars,' as each imperfection adds character, similar to patina on an old car. The correct process is with a French Polish. While I know how to do this, I chose not to as it involves sanding and applying countless varnish and shellac layers, which will alter its natural tone.

Listed for sale is my handmade #185 1919 Filip P Wolan 4/4 violin. This is ideal for intermediate to advanced players and enthusiasts, offering a responsive feel, comfortable playability, and a strong, focused, and resonating mature tone that sets it apart from newer instruments.
The setup consists of a custom quality cut premium grade Aubert maple bridge, hand carved by me 0.5mm under classical specification for comfort, a vintage tulip tailpiece with one German fine tuner, a Dresden style ebony chin rest, real pearl inlays ebony pegs, and a quality spruce sound post, which has been remeasured, recut , and repositioned slanted and underneath the outer- right bass foot side of the bridge to increase tonal projection, depth, and clarity.
I've paried this violin with newly strung D'Addario Zyex strings, known for stability and providing a warm and rich tone. This violin produces a focused, strong, full, broad, resonating tone with excellent projection. I spent quite a bit of time fine tuning the bridge for optimal tonal quality. I added more warmth and power to the lower registry and more sweetness to the upper registry.
The condition is good for its age. There are some wear and tear and some cosmetic flaws such as slight scratches, nicks, and varnish imperfections as seen in images, but overall in good shape. A small crack was repaired by my luthier in the past. No further cracks or open seams.
This comes with a 1900s vintage case, a new Brazilwood bow, and a new shoulder rest (not pictured).
Please let me know if you have any questions or if you need me to provide additional images for further inspection.
Please note that this item is sold as-is.

What does adjusted and upgraded mean?
For appearance: physical components are replaced such as pegs, tailpiece, chinrest and etc.
For tonal improvement: new bridge cut, bridge tuning, new sound post measured, cut, and repositioned, and new strings replaced. The effort and time spent to improve these structural changes will significantly enhance tonal quality.
For comfort: nut height, strings spacing and strings height will be remeasured and recut. Sometimes the neck needs to be shaven thinner. Fingerboard sometimes needs re-planing.
*** A final inspection will be thoroughly given prior to meet-up. All necessary compounds will be applied to prevent future slippage, stickiness, and reducing strings friction. This is to ensure a peace of mind.
All of my instruments have been stored in a controlled room with the right humidity and temperature. Every single instrument is treated with the utmost care. ***
