Paoletti originates from a small hill town named Tuscany in southern Florence, Italy. The family of the owner Fabrizio Paoletti was once involved in producing the famous "Chianti red wine," but Fabrizio Paoletti discovered a new possibility.
Using aged chestnut wood barrels aged over 130 years as the material for crafting electric guitars, they exhibit a whole new range of possibilities in tone. They possess delicate dynamics and tonal performance, excellent resonance enhancing sustain, and the vibrations produced by the chestnut wood body show unique characteristics in frequency, harmonics, and overtones. For the past 15 years, all Paoletti guitars have utilized chestnut wood barrels for their bodies, injecting new life into them.
Richie Sambora, well-known as the founding guitarist of Bon Jovi, is not only a guitarist but also a songwriter, record producer, and has released solo albums. Through Paoletti's masterful craftsmanship and specialized knowledge, guitars are born to serve great performers like him.
In terms of material selection, the signature chestnut wood barrel is always used for the body, adorned with rivet decorations around and SAMBORA engraving on the metal pickguard, giving a distinctive appearance. The roasted maple neck provides high stability and a very comfortable feel, suitable for playing various genres. Paoletti's handmade pickups further highlight the unique tone of the chestnut wood barrel body.
