Epiphone / FT-79 Cherry Red
The reason for choosing a vintage guitar isn't just about specifications, but about the "story embodied in the instrument" and the "unique presence" it possesses.
That's why ordinary choices won't satisfy you. This guitar will resonate with such people.
Produced for only three years, from 1967 to 1969, the "Cherry Red" color was an extremely limited color, even for Gibson guitars of the same period, existing for only a very short time.
Unlike the uniform finishes of modern guitars, this color, which fades differently with age, reflects the passage of time this guitar has taken up to the present day.
And it exudes a compelling quality that only something that has stood the test of time can possess.
The charm of this particular guitar extends beyond its appearance.
Compared to the J-45, the FT-79 has a longer scale length, characterized by a responsive tension and extended sustain. However, this particular guitar also possesses a nuanced drive.
I believe this is because it's not just the strings vibrating, but the entire body that resonates, pushing the air outwards as it resonates.
Even with a light strum, the sound projects smoothly without becoming muffled, and the separation and cohesion of chords coexist in exquisite balance.
In short, it's a compelling sound truly worthy of being called a "vintage sound."
The years of playing have cultivated a nuance that only this guitar can produce.
It's a layering of time that you can never get with a new guitar.
However, like a new guitar, a vintage guitar changes its sound depending on the player.
Furthermore, the fact that your own sound will be etched into this one guitar as you continue to play it is an irresistible romance for any guitar lover.
The Epiphone brand continues to accompany players worldwide, even today, but its roots lie in the handcrafted work of artisans in New York.
This FT-79 faithfully inherits that lineage, while maturing with the spirit of the times.
A color unlike any other, a sound that no one else can imitate.
And the time it will accompany you from now on.
We wholeheartedly recommend this guitar. Your browser does not support video tags. [Comment from the person in charge: Mochizuki]
This is a cool guitar with an overwhelmingly well-worn look.
If you are considering a J-45 or J-50 with an adjustable saddle, this is definitely a guitar you should consider.
We confidently recommend both its playability and sound!
