12" ALNICO SPEAKER UTAH BASED HEMPOPOTAMUS HYBRID FAT THICK MEATY 3D TONALITY PMR SPEAKER

Up for grabs is this 12" AlNiCo guitar / wide range speaker.

This is a 1940's Utah based alnico unit, and re-fabricated at PMR in Ohio with all new OEM/ AMERICAN made components.There are NO after market, replacement, import, or chyna junk parts in it, but ONLY AMERICAN, right down to the solder and adhesives!

KILLER tonality, with that HEMP-O fat, thick, meaty, 3D "magnetically Saturated" tonality.

It was striped down to bare metal, and then built from the inside out to yield the unit you see now.

I'll describe each component

Frame- stamped steel

Magnetic composition- alnico

Hook up- standard spade terminals

Litz wires- .050" diameter COPPER Litz

Spider- treated textile/ cupped high compliance

Dust cap- aluminum

Cone assembly- full paper body HEMP-O G5 formulation.

Cone profile- Curve-linear ( deep and almost a full 90*!)

Cone ribs- No - smooth curved

Surround- molded hemp pulp non treated

Front Mounting gaskets- yes- 4/8 hole repressed chip

Voice coil former- caption/ paper hybrid

Voice coil impedance- 8 Ohms\

Power- 30 watts

Response- 70Hz- 6.5 kHz and THEN into roll off.

SPL- 95

That'll give you guys a good idea for what's inside and what she'll sound like.

The low end is tight and "fast", as these are hemp fiber cones.Not mushy at all, nice and firm. The midrange is complex, with a fat, thick, meaty 3D tonality . Clean channel sounds correct, and they can handle distortion, high gain, and head end effects. The high end is great! No "Ice-Pick" or "beaming" sounds, and is very controllable. That G5 Purple-Potamus hemp pulp is unbeatable!

Fully tested under diagnostics and operates without any rubbing, buzzing, holes, rips, tears, or other issues- she works perfectly.
