Very cool and great sounding 1966 maple cap Telecaster. Rare for the year Olympic White finish, lightweight at 3270g, lots of honest playwear on the neck, but plays great and has maximum vintage vibe and feel.
This is a bit of a “player” guitar, with a few changes, but the big stuff is all there, most notably of course the original finish. Maple cap neck, dated AUG 66 B. Please note, if something is not specifically mentioned, it is original.
Changes include:
- Electronics – new pickup switch, pots and Astron tone cap, wiring changed to modern Telecaster spec
- Case is original with “tail” logo on it, but has had quite a lot of the lining replaced
- Guitar has been refretted, which only makes it play better of course
- New nut
