I am the original owner. I've played this one a little over the past few years. But it lives in my pet-free, smoke-free climate-controlled studio. It has regular cleanings and re-stringing.

My favorite feature: Dirty Fingers + are my fav pickups. I typically downtune this guitar to Eb or D standard. It's versatility gives you amazing crunch and ominous overtones. You'll love it.

The 2013 Gibson Government Series II Flying V in "Government Tan" is a highly collectible limited-run guitar. Released following Gibson's highly publicized 2011 timber dispute, only 100 to 300 of these instruments were produced. They are historically significant because their rosewood fingerboards were crafted from wood seized and eventually returned to Gibson by the federal government.

Key Specs & Details

• Body & Neck: Solid mahogany body and set mahogany neck with a 60s slim taper profile.
• Fretboard: Confiscated and returned rosewood with dot inlays.
• Electronics: Dual, ultra-hot Dirty Fingers+ ceramic humbuckers with 2 volume knobs, 1 tone knob, and a 3-way toggle switch.
• Hardware: Black chrome/blacked-out hardware, Grover tuners, and a commemorative black pickguard displaying an eagle hoisting a confiscated guitar neck.
• Finish: Thin nitrocellulose "Government Tan" finish.
• Accessories: Included original Gibson hardshell case and a hand-signed Certificate of Authenticity. All the Gibson case candy included.

Shipping:

Insured shipping only to a verified US address (unless otherwise specified in the auction shipping details).

Your package might not look beautiful, but will be packed like a tank and I'll take all possible shipping precautions.

·I don't try to make any profit on shipping or "handling". I just want the gear to get to you safe.

·I use the Reverb shipping calculator to be as accurate as possible.

·For heavy-duty boxes, I purchase these at Lowes.

·I will custom-make boxes at times to save costs at the buyers request.

·I try to use recycled boxes and packaging where possible.

Shipping Estimates are based on these “typical” considerations

·Electric Guitar Box: Generally, 50" x 20" x 8".

·Over-sized/Bass Box: Approximately 52" x 24" x 8".

·Other gear: I try to custom-make recycled boxes (Amazon, etc.) which minimize shipping costs but maintain high protection.  

·Weight Limit: I keep the total weight under 30 lbs for standard rates.

·Packing Material: Packed with enough padding (bubble wrap, peanuts, etc.) to prevent movement inside the box and optimal protection.
