Bought this a while back and just don't play it. Beautiful 1978 Vintage Strat with rosewood fretboard. No issues with the electronics, no scratchy pots or jack, pickups sound amazing.

Has natural belmishes in finish, cool for a 48 year old guitar that give it character, but in great shape considering its age. The headstock has some clear coat starting to flake off which is common on threse. The guitar is almost 100% original, minus the volume knob which does not look 100% correct. Previous owner said that tremolo arm hole was tested, but no trem arm included as I did not get one when I bought it). Truss rod works properly.

The color is up for debate; Fender color for 1978 is listed as Walnut, but its more of a dark Transparent Wine.

Weight: 9 lbs. Heavy ash, but great sustain.

Body: too difficult to read, but has the correct stamps.

Will come in a non orignal hard shell case.
