Gibson Flying V ’67 Reissue - 2001 - USA - 496R / 500T - Gigbag
For sale: Gibson Flying V ’67 Reissue from 2001, made in the USA. A classic reissue of the late ‘60s Flying V - lightweight, aggressive in design and instantly recognizable in tone.
This example shows visible signs of use typical for this body shape. There are dings on the wing tips and some wear on the headstock edges. These are purely cosmetic and do not affect the structure or playability of the instrument.
The guitar has been freshly set up with new strings and plays very comfortably. Frets are in very good condition with plenty of life left. The neck is straight and the truss rod works as it should.
All electronics are original and fully functional. The guitar is equipped with the factory Gibson pickup set:
- Gibson 496R (neck)
- Gibson 500T (bridge)
This is a classic high-output configuration - tight low end, strong midrange and aggressive attack, perfect for rock and heavier styles.
Hardware includes a traditional Tune-o-matic bridge with stopbar tailpiece. Controls are standard for this model:
- 2 x Volume
- 1 x Tone
- 3-way pickup selector
Includes a gigbag.
This is a real USA-made Flying V that has been played, but remains in very good working condition and is fully ready to go.
