I've owned this amazing bass for almost 20 years. 

It feels and plays great and sounds incredible. 

Weighs just about 9.5 lbs by my scale.

Some details:

I had the pickup rewound by Lindy Fralin in 2012 ... he did a great job and I could hold the sound of this pickup against any vintage bass.

I had the neck steamed and reset by Paul Nieto back in 2012 and it is still rocking. 

Intonation is solid.

You could play gigs on this bass everyday for 3 months and not need to tune it! 

The E string tuning machine is just ever so slightly bent. It was like that when I got the bass and does not affect fonctionalty.

All “relic” type discoloration is real and naturally occurred over the course of 1000’s of gigs. 

There is some gaffe tape residue. I got most of it off with lighter fluid but did not want to go too far. Personally I think it looks cool and adds to the character of the bass. You could get the rest off, probably, with some super fine steal wool maybe, or 1000 grain sand paper?
