Up for sale we have a 1992 Fender Stevie Ray Vaughan Signature Stratocaster with gold hardware, Pau Ferro fingerboard and original tweed hardshell case. Made in the USA.
An early-production example of the iconic SRV signature model, this 1992 Fender SRV Strat captures the look, feel, and unmistakable tone of one of blues guitar’s most revered players. Built in the first year of production, these early ’90s models are especially desirable for their vintage-inspired construction and powerful Texas voice.

This particular example sounds and plays beautifully. It is in very good used condition overall and has certainly been played and enjoyed over the years. It shows moderate cosmetic wear with lots of fine surface scuffs and scratches scattered throughout the body and pickguard as well as handful of dings and dents, a few of which go through the finish down to wood. There are two larger scrapes on the backside of the body (see last photo). The bridge and bridge saddles show a fair amount of pitting and corrosion but everything functions as intended. The neck is in great shape and has just a small handful of light dings and dents, most of which are allocated to the headstock with the playing surface on the backside clear of any notable wear or damage. Structurally the guitar is solid with no cracks, breaks or repairs. Aside from a fresh TUSQ nut (original included), all other parts are original to the guitar to the best of our knowledge.

- solid Maple neck with early ‘60’s style full C-shape profile measuring .820“ deep at the first fret and .930” deep at the twelfth fret. The neck is straight and plays great. Truss rod access is located at the heel of the neck, it turns smoothly in both directions and functions as intended.

- Thick slab Pau Ferro fingerboard with 12” radius, white acrylic dot fret markers and 21 original medium jumbo frets. Frets are in great shape and show very little visible play wear, tons of life left.

- early 60’s style small headstock with Fender spaghetti logo waterslide decal (decal has a bit of damage from a few small dings) and Stevie Ray Vaughan signature logo
