Made in Japan in the 1970s, this Ibanez Vintage model 62 is in excellent condition and is highly regarded by players who prefer smaller-bodied vintage instruments over larger dreadnoughts. Compared to the popular dreadnought style of this era, this model 62 leans more towards comfort and precision with its more compact, Grand Concert, design. The guitar plays smooth and fast the "C" slim neck profile makes this guitar feel super comfortable in hand and playable for long durations. The guitar provides a warm and balanced tone thanks to its seasoned spruce top and mahogany back and sides. Beyond normal wear and tear consistent with age, this guitar is in excellent condition and has been properly cared for over the years. There is a slight fingerboard rise over the body but this will not affect the playability of the guitar. Aside from this, the neck is straight, the intonation is spot on and the action is excellent. There is no fret wear apparent and this guitar has been professionally set up, weighing in at 3 pounds, 10 ounces.
