Early example of a McCarty from the PRS vaults of beautiful tonewoods , a flawless 10-Top quilted maple cap in a stunning Scarlett Red finish! This is a late-'90s core PRS built in Stevensville, Maryland during one of the brand's most respected production eras, offering the craftsmanship, tone, and feel that made the McCarty what it is today
The carved quilted maple top shows excellent figure and depth under the Scarlet Red finish, paired with a thicker mahogany body and 22-fret wide fat mahogany neck for the warm, resonant response the McCarty line is known for. The Wide Fat neck carve provides a comfortable, substantial feel that suits both rhythm and lead work, and the 25" scale keeps string tension balanced and articulate.
Electronics and hardware are factory original .
The stock PRS McCarty vintage bass and treble humbucker pickups deliver classic PAF-inspired tones with clear highs, strong mids, and a tight low end , the coil splitting tone knob adds to the selection of tones available.
