The Player II Modified series builds on that heritage, combining traditional Fender tone with performance-focused refinements that enhance tuning stability, tonal flexibility, and overall playability. Finished in a timeless 3-Tone Sunburst, this model preserves the familiar Tele look while delivering contemporary features that modern musicians demand.

One of the standout aspects of this guitar is its versatile SH pickup configuration. The Player II Modified humbucker in the neck position offers warm, full-bodied tones with strong output, perfect for smooth leads and thicker rhythm parts. In contrast, the Player II Noiseless Tele bridge pickup retains the signature Tele twang and bite while eliminating the hum often associated with traditional single-coils. A push/pull tone control allows players to split the neck humbucker into a single-coil voice, unlocking classic Tele-style neck tones and dramatically expanding the guitar’s sonic range.

Beyond its tonal versatility, the Player II Modified Telecaster SH is built for reliable performance. The Modern C maple neck with rolled fingerboard edges provides a comfortable, fast-playing feel, while the 9.5-inch radius rosewood fingerboard and medium jumbo frets support expressive bends and smooth chord work. Upgraded hardware — including locking tuning machines, a modern string tree, and a six-saddle Tele bridge with brass saddles — ensures excellent tuning stability and sustain.
