Here's a Dean Leslie West model, made in Korea in 2008. This may be a transitional edition, as it is identified on the headstock simply as a Soltero. It's one of the coolest Les Paul variations ever. A big chunk of mahogany with a maple top, and a stunning finish that Dean called Brazilia Burst. It has the unmistakable Soltero styling, with an elegant and radical top carve where the edge curls into itself, which combined with the arched top makes it look like a piece of sculpture. The set neck has a soft V shape, and an ebony fretboard with unique pearl inlays. The pickup is a Leslie West Mountain of Tone model, a hum-reducing pickup wound to sound like a P-90. If you've been looking for this great discontinued model, take a look at the photos. It is in excellent condition overall, with one or two extremely small scratches and nicks, too small to photograph, and two very tiny flecks on the edge (see photo.) These flaws are all minute, and do not detract at all from the overall attractiveness of the guitar.
