Boutique handmade dreadnought from Bob Thompson Custom Guitars (West Virginia), built in 2017 (No. 126) and signed by Larry Thompson. This is a high-end, American-made instrument with premium torrefied tonewoods and several player-focused upgrades.
This guitar has a powerful, open voice with excellent projection and clarityāit cuts through a mix effortlessly while still retaining warmth and balance.

Condition:
Excellent overall condition with very minimal play wear. There are two very small, light surface scratches on the back (shown in photos).
Tone / Playability:
This guitar has a strong torrefied Lutz spruce + rosewood voiceāclear, powerful low end, focused mids, and a sweet, open top. The torrefied woods give it a more played-in, broken-in character with excellent headroom and a dry, articulate response that really shines for flatpicking and lead work.
The carbon fiber reinforcement adds extra stiffness and responsiveness, helping with note separation and consistency when you dig in.
The compensated nut and saddle keep intonation dialed across the neck, and the comfortable C-shaped neck plays fast without feeling too thin.
The K&K Pure Mini delivers a natural, woody amplified toneāgreat for live use.
