The Pioneer RT-701 is a well-regarded 3-motor, 3-head, 4-track stereo reel-to-reel tape deck from the late 1970s, recognized for its compact design, reliability, excellent audio quality and beautiful visual design. As a manual-reverse alternative to the popular RT-707, it uses a direct-drive capstan motor and handles up to 7-inch reels. This machine is in Very Good condition with a dent on the lower right part of front panel by the rack ear, otherwise, it plays and records well and still looks great and the heads are in good shape. The blue reels shown in the photos are not included in the sale of this deck.
