This guitar has never been played outside of my house just in my studio and hasn't been played much. No wear at all on the frets, paint is great a couple little marks on the side back.
A 1992 Yamaha APX 4 in mint condition is a rare find from the early production years (1992–1994) of this stage-focused series. Known for its "thinline" body, it was designed to offer electric guitarists a comfortable transition to acoustic performance without the feedback issues of traditional dreadnoughts. Visual & Physical Condition (Mint)In "mint" condition, this 30+ year-old instrument should show virtually no signs of its age, such as the common "clouding" or fading of the clear coat often seen on older APX models.
- Body: The Spruce top should be free of the hairline cracks or "finish checking" typical for this era. The Agathis or Lyrachord/Resin back and sides should be pristine with no deep scratches or buckle rash.
- Hardware: The three-per-side chrome tuners should be shiny and free of the pitting or rust often found on vintage units.
- Neck & Frets: The Nato neck should be straight, and the 22-fret Rosewood fingerboard should show nearly 100% fret life with no divots. YouTube +6
