Designed in collaboration with Wolfgang Van Halen, the EVH Limited Edition SA-126 Special redefines what a modern guitar can be, blending elements of semi-hollow and solid-body construction for exceptional tone, comfort, and versatility. Its chambered mahogany body with a basswood center block offers the resonance and warmth of a semi-hollow while retaining the stability and sustain of a solid-body. A maple top with elegant 5-ply binding delivers visual sophistication and tonal brightness, making this guitar equally suited for glassy cleans, tight rhythms, and searing leads.
The graphite-reinforced mahogany neck features a smooth natural satin finish, a 12"-16" compound-radius ebony fingerboard, and 22 jumbo frets for effortless bends and rapid runs. Triple block inlays add a touch of classic style, while the spoke-wheel truss rod at the neck heel ensures easy on-the-fly adjustments. Custom-designed EVH SA-126 humbuckers, created with pickup expert Tim Shaw, provide a wide tonal palette, from lush cleans to high-gain punch. With independent volume and tone controls for each pickup, a 3-way toggle on the upper horn, and premium hardware like the EVH Harmonica bridge and keystone tuners, the SA-126 is ready for the stage or studio.
This Limited Edition model comes in Satin Shell Pink and includes an ivory vinyl-wrapped hardshell case with blue crushed velvet interior. Available now at Haggerty’s Music.
