Designed in collaboration with Wolfgang Van Halen, this innovative instrument fuses the bold resonance of a semi-hollow body with the power and precision of a solid-body design. A chambered mahogany body with a basswood centerblock and stunning quilt maple top provides a perfect tonal foundation, wrapped in elegant 5-ply binding. The 2-piece mahogany neck features a comfortable EVH® Modified "C" profile, paired with a 12”-16” compound radius ebony fingerboard and jumbo frets for effortless speed and control. Custom-designed EVH® SA-126 humbuckers deliver everything from crystalline cleans to searing overdriven tones, managed by a versatile three-way toggle switch and independent volume and tone controls. Practical appointments like the EVH® Harmonica bridge, oversized strap buttons, and spoke-wheel truss rod adjustment ensure maximum stability and playability. This stunning guitar also includes a premium SA-126 Hardshell Case wrapped in ivory vinyl with a crushed blue velvet interior.
