1993 Pedulla Thunderbolt 5-String Fretless - VERY NICE!

On consignment: 1993 Pedulla Fretless Thunderbolt 5 in extremely nice condition.

The owner had Mike Pedulla refinish the fingerboard with his special "DiamondKote" gloss polyester coating in June, 2018, and Mike signed the back of the headstock at that time as well. The bass has not been played since then, so the fingerboard looks like new!

It's a maple body with a beautiful transparent teal finish, and the bass weighs 8 lbs. 15.5 oz.

The nut with is 1.9 inches.

The neck is fast and thin, measuring 0.80" at the first fret, 0.86" at the 5th fret, and 0.88" at the 12th fret.

Cosmetically, the bass is in great shape. There are a few very tiny (pinhead size) dings here and there, but nothing noticeable from more than a couple feet away. On the back, there is extensive "worming", i.e. random light squiggly indentation lines from a belt buckle on the cavity cover, on the treble side hip adjacent to the cover, and on the bass side hip as well. These lines are only visible when holding the bass (or camera) at just the right angle to the light. That is why you can see the lines in some photos but not others.

The action is nice and low, and it plays beautifully when I tested it for just a few seconds.

Bass will ship in the original Pedulla rectangular hardshell case, and includes the setup tools, a fresh set of Pedulla PN5 strings, and a Pedulla leather strap with straplock hardware. Also included will be the original service order document from when Mike Pedulla refinished the fingerboard.
