The Gibson Explorer was way ahead of its time when it was introduced in 1958, and only 19 were shipped that year, but it has become very popular in the years since then. The classic vintage Explorer features have been carefully recreated in this Historic Reissue model. Featuring an ABR-1 bridge and Stop Bar tailpiece, a korina body, Custombucker pickups, korina neck, Indian rosewood fretboard, two volume and one tone control with CTS® pots and a phone book capacitor, gold hardware, Kluson® tuners, and a 4-ply black pickguard. A historically accurate case is included, with a classic brown exterior and plush pink interior.

CONDITION:
Please review all the photos as they are a part of the description and show the guitars condition and what's included. This guitar is extremely clean with very little play time so there's no noticeable signs of use. There are no dings, dents, chips or scratches on this guitar. There's some minute marks in the clear coat if you look close enough. Please refer to the photos. The neck, frets, electronics and all hardware are perfect. The original "historic" case is in excellent condeition inside and out. It is mint except for a few small marks on the corners. Condition is very subjective but I describe everything as best I can and I do have a 100% positive seller rating. If you have any questions please ask.

Shipping indicated is for the lower 48 States only and includes insurance. Shipping to Alaska and Hawaii will be higher. This guitar will be packed for safe shipping.
