Beautiful 2000 Fender AVRI Telecaster Custom in classic 3-Tone Sunburst with double binding.

A high-quality example from Fender’s second year of '62 AVRI model, capturing the look and feel of an original 1962 Telecaster Custom.

The rosewood fretboard is exceptionally dark and rich, something rarely seen on newer guitars, giving it a true vintage aesthetic while playing at a very high level—better than most Custom Shop instruments. The nitro finish on the back of the neck has been lightly removed, resulting in a smooth, broken-in feel. It looks naturally worn and feels fantastic.

This is a well-cared-for player’s guitar, in excellent condition with only a few very minor surface marks that are hard to notice—overall very clean and “minty” for its age.

Lightweight for a Tele Custom, perfectly balanced, and incredibly playable.

Previously owned by a professional NYC guitarist, with a few upgrades to bring it to its full potential in both tone and appearance:
• Lindy Fralin pickups – the originals were the weakest part of this model; these are a major tonal upgrade
• Genuine 1960s Telecaster pickguard – looks incredible (and valuable on its own)
• Clean professional routing under the guard for a middle pickup (Nashville/3-pickup option), fully hidden under the pickguard.

Currently set up with .011 strings, offering great tone and stability, and plays fantastic (can be adjusted to preference).

Includes original Fender hardshell case in excellent condition.
