Here's a rare Sound Electronics Corporation x505R. Sound amps were made in Mineola Long Island NY designed by John Dougherty, a former Ampeg employee. He wanted to make an amp of Ampeg uality but with a more Fender-esque sound. This is a large combo. Taller than an Ampeg Gemini II by quite a bit. Great 60s sounds. Cleans to overdrive and breakup. Tremolo and reverb are functioning perfectly. This was just serviced with new power supply filter capacitors and a grounded AC plug. It has newer production 12ax7 preamp tubes with vintage 7868 power tubes. Operates without any excess noise or issues. Sounds excellent. Ready to rock. Can ship safely worldwide. Fully insured and protected. This will be packed with extreme care to ensure safe transit.
