This guitar weighs 7.5 pounds and has a custom colorshift/chameleon paint job. The player series does not include a case, the case in the pictures was used only to protect the guitar while photographing it, no case is included with the purchase of the Fender player series. This guitar received some cosmetic damage so I took all the paint off with a heat gun and sanded and refinished this guitar in a custom color of my choice. I painted it a colorshifting blue-to-purple paint because it's cool and it's paint that you can only really get on a custom guitar. The PRS Silver Sky "Nebula" is the guitar that inspired this paint choice. The paint job came out good overall but the spots that were originally damage on the sides you can slightly still see through the paint. I took pictures of all the spots. The neck had a couple chunks taken out that I filled in with wood putty and smoothed out completely. I took pictures of those spots as well. If you are really into the custom colorshift paint finish and don't mind a few marks that don't affect playability in any way then you'll be very happy with this guitar. It's a Fender Player Series Stratocaster HSS pickup configuration after all. It does everything you need it to very well. Inspired by the PRS Silver Sky, I filled in the backplate screw holes before painting because I liked the look and accessibility of no back plate on the strat. The guitar got cosmetically damaged by someone else unfortunately after I owned it for only 2 months, so I've put my blood, sweat, and tears into this guitar making it as perfect as I can for myself and anyone who plays it. I painted the headstock to match the colorshift paint on the body and I filled in the stringtree hole on the headstock before painting because its ugly. It works perfectly for now with no stringtree but staggered tuners are the way to go if you want that downward angle on the far tuners. The specs for this guitar include an alder body that has a gloss poly finish, a maple neck with a satin finish on the back of the neck for smooth, non-sticky feel and playability, while also being a glossy finish on the fingerboard and headstock which gives it a high end, finished look and feel. The neck shape is a comfortable "Modern C" profile and the fingerboard radius is 9.5" which is the perfect sweet spot in between vintage Fenders and Gibsons. The guitar has 22 medium jumbo nickel frets. The HSS pickup layout gives every tone you can want in one guitar. There's a Fender Player Series Alnico II humbucking pickup in the bridge position that gives you those classic PAF humbucker tones and dedicated Fender Player Series Alnico 5 single coil pickups in the neck position and middle position to give you those chimey, clean single coil tones. The tremolo is the Fender 2 point synchronized system with bent steel saddles. Any questions feel free to message me and I'll get back to you.
