Features:

  • Variable Delay Range: Provides selectable delay times via pushbuttons for Flanger (1.25–2.5ms), Chorus (5–20ms), Doubler (20–80ms), and Echo (80–320ms).
  • Multiplier Control: A continuous rotary knob allows you to sweep the delay time from 0.25x to 1x the selected range.
  • Onboard VCO: Includes dedicated Speed and Width controls for modulation, enabling pitch-shifting effects like lush chorus and deep flanging.
  • Phase Inversion: Features an "Invert Delay" switch to flip the phase of the delayed signal, which is critical for creating specialized flange and phase-cancellation effects.
  • Dual Outputs: Offers a pseudo-stereo output where one side is phase-inverted, creating a wider spatial field.
  • Instrument/Line Switching: The back panel includes a level switch to accommodate both guitar-level signals and studio line-level gear. YouTube +7

Additional Benefits:

  • "Analog" Digital Tone: Despite being digital, its early conversion technology and aggressive filtering result in a warm, rich sound often compared to analog bucket-brigade delays.
  • Legendary Pedigree: Highly regarded for its creative potential, it has been used on iconic recordings like Heart’s "Barracuda" and is a staple on the pedalboards of tone purists like Eric Johnson.
  • Ease of Use: Unlike modern processors with deep menus, its "one-knob-per-function" interface allows for intuitive, real-time sound manipulation.
  • Rugged Construction: Built with a hardwired AC cord and no external "wall-wart" power supplies, reducing noise and increasing reliability for stage use.
