This guitar weighs 9.9 pounds and was crafted in 2021 in the Gibson Custom Shop in Nashville, Tennessee. This guitar comes with all of the original paperwork, including the Sweetwater 55 point inspection checklist, the Gibson Custom Shop certificate of authenticity, and the Gibson Custom Shop pre-pack checklist. The guitar is in mint/excellent condition with not a single mark on it and has been very, very lightly played. The frets and everything about this guitar are practically new. The white finish has slight yellowing to it from exposure to air. It has been kept in the case. The gold hardware (tuners, bridge, tailpiece) have been swapped to black hardware for a darker look. Such attention to detail as to even swap the bracket that attaches the pickguard to the body from gold to black, as well as the pickup selector switch from white to black, and the strap buttons from gold to black, to fully complete the black and white look. The new black tuners are Grover Locking Tuners for modern ease of use and tuning stability. I don't have any of the original gold hardware. The 2019-Present Gibson Les Paul Customs feature a mahogany body with a 2-piece maple top, mahogany neck with a 12 inch fingerboard radius that has 22 medium jumbo nickel frets, long neck tenon, exceptionally dark genuine solid ebony fingerboard with mother of pearl block inlays, multi-ply binding on the front and back of the body, multi-ply binding on the headstock, split diamond Gibson Custom headstock inlay made of genuine mother of pearl, a high gloss nitrocellulose lacquer finish on the entire guitar, wax-potted Gibson 490R Alnico II humbucker pickup in the neck position, wax-potted Gibson 498T Alnico V humbucker in the bridge position, and using the best electronics that Gibson has to offer featuring 4 CTS 500K Pots that are hand-wired with orange drop capacitors and a Switchcraft 3-Way pickup toggle switch.
