This is a Gibson ES-335 TDW…maple body, walnut finish. This is a transitional model. 1970 was the last year Gibson used the orange label. This guitar has the small volute, and has made in USA impressed on the back of the headstock. the guitar is 100% original, no mods, no updated parts, no repairs or breaks. It is as close to mint as you can get.

The case is an original Gibson case with the orange interior. The case has its share of wear, but that is what the case is for. No major damage to the case. Latches all work.

This guitar plays like a dream, frets are original and have a great deal of life left.

Pickups are strong and clear. This guitar sounds and plays the way a 335 should.

There are a few blemishes and a small amount of checking, but that’s it. I would grade this guitar as a 9.5 out of 10.

This Is an investment grade instrument. Quality is always in demand. I am not a dealer, and I’m very picky about what goes in my collection. I’ve had this for over 10 years, it’s time for a new home. Thanks for looking.
