Here's a speaker you won't find at Walmart!

Up for grabs is this 1970s AMPEG 12" AlNiCo loudspeaker... I pulled the can, and yes- it IS the horse shoe type alnico structure and NOT a ceramic unit..

The cool thing about this one?---All original parts!..

.....The frame date code says 70, but the stamps on the front gaskets say 68...regardless, it's an OLD unit, as old as I am!

I went over the whole thing, and checked the adhesive bonds, looked for dry rot, moisture fatigue and rubbing, and she operates flawlessly. 8 ohms, probably a 30 watt unit, mid 90s SPL, and I'll say a usable range upon to maybe 4.5Khz.

But ya',- original cone, surround, dust cap, voice coil, spider and all that.

Awesome tonality and body with that seamed cone edge treated design...It has that "Power-Vintage" tonality.

Operates just peachy.

Plus, I'll throw in my 15 day " NO GAMBLE" return option from delivery date (((less customer damage))) if for ANY REASON you simply don't like what you just bought!
