Here's a cool and somewhat rare Kalamazoo Bass 30 tube amplifier. Made by Gibson as a less expensive line of amps, nonetheless all tube and quality construction.

30 tube watts - pretty loud actually. Two 10 inch speakers in a sealed cabinet. While looking non-descript, the cool factor is the "flip down" control panel in the back!

These are great clean-and tubey guitar amps or mid-volume bass amps. Lots of low end on tap if you need it. A great all-around amp that mostly stays clean all the way up the dial.

This example is in very good condition, as shown in the pics. It has been recently serviced with new filter caps, a few other out of spec components, and a grounded 3 prong power cord. The tubes (likely original) were tested in good condition.

The grounding scheme of these K'zoo amps was not great from the factory and has been improved during service for lower hum/noise. Possibly the best-sounding Bass 30 out there, since most have not been serviced.

Includes the original parts that were removed during service - see pic, as well as a copy of the schematic. The original schematic is stapled inside the back panel and is in great condition.

The two 10 inch speakers are mid-70's CTS that work and sound great. (The original speakers were gone when I got the amp).

Original power and output transformer codes match at 606626 (26th week of 1966). The schematic is dated 6/22/66. The serial number is 15462.
