ARIA PRO II SB-R60 1981- *RARE* ALL ORIGINAL MATSUMOKU BASS w case

A superb all-original early Matsumoku-built bass in glorious condition. 

Brilliant craftsmanship, materials and that distinctive through neck design has made these early Aria basses modern classics.

Condition-wise...

This is from the SB (Super Bass) range (77-83) though you would be hard pressed to know it from the overall condition. This bass is close to immaculate. 

I originally got it with a gig bag but I found a hard case that will fit it..Has 1 broken latch but at least we can feel better about shipping it

The body and gorgeous transmit neck still retain the factory gloss and the fingerboard is in similarly excellent shape. There is minimal fret wear.

Cosmetically you can see some wear towards the top where your arm goes...I always wondered if the previous owner had a wristband or something. Theres definitely some wear there..so do say I didn't worn you. All the hardware is original. Brass nut.

The tonal range on these is quite excellent. The Aria 'Dual Sound Switch' gives an upper/lower mid shift. (Check out the numerous demos of this Aria model out there for definitive proof.)

Overall it sounds and performs quite beautifully. 

In Summary...

Truly a modern vintage classic from the legendary Matsumoku master craftsmen. 

This is in great condition other than that scuffage. Still beautiful
