Up for sale is a killer 2010 Gibson Custom Shop ‘56 Les Paul Goldtop Reissue in VG condition and perfect working order. It has just received a professional setup with a fresh set of 10–46 gauge strings and plays wonderfully, with a straight neck, low action, and accurate intonation. And the pair of ThroBak 52/54 P-90’s sound exceptional and are a major upgrade. Looks like a pair of these sell new for $850.

Cosmetically, this instrument is pretty clean but is has been played. As a result, it exhibits typical play wear such as dings, dents, swirl marks, finish checking, scratches and buckle worming on the back. The original frets look great still only showing mild wear on frets 1-9 mostly under the plain strings. Please see the photos for details and excuse any reflections.

All in all, this is a killer sounding and very resonant ‘56 RI Les Paul that plays like butter and is under 9.5lbs. In addition to the pickups, the pots and strap buttons are also not original. It comes with the original Gibson hardshell case. No COA.

The guitar weighs 9 lbs 7.3 oz. The nut width measures 1.696”. Neck thickness is .925” at the 1st fret and .985” at the 12th fret.
