This is a BOSS DS-1 Distortion (Made in Japan, September 1982) featuring the TA7136AP op-amp.

This unit has been fully serviced and is in good working condition.

This is a Made in Japan DS-1 from September 1982.
It is equipped with the desirable TA7136AP op-amp.

The back label shows “Roland JAPAN”, and the PCB is marked “MADE IN TAIWAN”, which is correct for this production period.

■ Maintenance Performed

• Potentiometer cleaning
• Exterior cleaning
• Pedal guide bushing replaced (genuine BOSS part)
• Thumb screw replaced with a brand new genuine BOSS part (original was missing)

■ Notes

The set screw on the DIST knob is missing, but the knob remains secure and does not come off during normal use.

Cosmetically, there are scratches and signs of wear consistent with its age.
