Sansui AU-505 Integrated Amplifier | Serviced & Tested

For sale is a vintage and recently serviced Sansui AU-505 Integrated Amplifier in very good, fully functional condition. Manufactured in Japan in the early 70s, this compact stereo integrated amp offers 12 watts per channel into 8 ohms. This unit has been serviced with a partial recap of the tone board and power amp board, as well as replacing a number of known problematic transistor part #s. Corrosive glue found on tone board that was cleaned. Bias voltages and DC offser adjusted per specification of service manual. Please review all images and descriptions prior to purchase.

• Little noticeable cosmetic defects. Minor blemishing on case
• All functions working

Service:

• Partial recap of power and tone board with Nichicon/Panasonic quality capacitors.
• Replaced capacitors with corrosive glue on board.
• Bias voltages and DC offset adjusted per specification of service manual.
• All controls and knobs cleaned with DeoxIT products.
• Unit was tested in complete system for 6+ hours.
