The MRD is a high-gain distortion pedal modeled on the compressed sounds of the 1980s. It is extremely easy (and fun) to play because its tonal structure is calibrated to achieve clarity and definition even with heavy distortion. The gain range also allows for light distortion, and when preceded by an overdrive, you can achieve extreme, well-focused sounds.
