The Craig Blundell Black Panther Design Lab snare drum is a modern hybrid wood design built around a walnut and maple shell intended to balance warmth with articulate response. Mapex’s Sonic Saver hoops contribute to a controlled yet open sound, offering a compromise between traditional triple-flanged and die-cast designs. Visually, the satin walnut finish and brushed black hardware give the drum a contemporary appearance.
